I think the release notice on AVSIM's homepage of X-Plane 10 is a little premature, as it hasn't been released yet! December 7'th is the ship date (Although they are taking pre-orders). Also the link doesn't link to the developer home page, X-Plane.com, rather to X-plane.org which is a independent site

AVSIM doesn't write those releases. The source writes, including links, and sends those out to sites such as here.

There was some degree of confusion i guess , the official release i was sent didnt make the situation very clear , thanks for the heads up.
