December 4, 201114 yr Do you mean they're not appearing in the aircraft selection screen? If so, make sure "show all variations" has a check mark. Kenneth Weir My Saitek yoke mod i7 2600k @ 4.7 8GB Gskill CAS7 2x GTX580 SLI Surround + GT520 Accessory Win7x64
December 4, 201114 yr I think he means the callsign used to adress you in fsx' default atc. There is a line in the specific livery section of the aircraft .cfg, I believe there is another .cfg responsible for this in the fsx root directory. But I'll leave that for someone more knowledgable to answer. Regards, Luke Stevens
December 4, 201114 yr Author exactly like luke says I dont see any of the liveries I downloaded in the atc names listonly the default fsx listscannot find it in the aircraft configtried reloading both 747 and 737 ngx in that order but that did not workhas any one got any ideas on this one?regards michael
December 4, 201114 yr There was never any others listed, regardless of past or new installations. Installing a livery however does add a line to the aircraft.cfg for what it wants it to refer to itself as. For instance, I create a paint and it's a British Airways. I then add that name to my aircraft.cfg in the "atc_airline=" area. If it does not have that area, I write it in. Then whatever name I put there will automatically be used, but ONLY IF FSX has the other files it needs in it's sound sources. If FSX does, then it will automatically put that callsign for that specific aircraft. Now, you can also add these using the incredibly useful, and Free 'EditVoicePack". Download it here. (I have permission to host this file, also be sure to visit their site). To give an example of how to install this, I created some names and some instructions for the total noob ;) Download and install the attached program EditVoicePackX. Download my file which has several already complete ATC voices (Including "PMDG").These instructions will not explain how to use EditVoicePackX. However, even if you never used it before this is all you need to know. There is a tutorial in the download section on how to use this program more thoroughly. Download the attached "DanTrix_Voiceset.zip" and extract (unzip) it wherever you prefer. Start EditVoicePackX. Goto "File > Import Modifications" Browse to where you extracted the DanTrix_Voiceset.evpmod and select it, and choose "Open".You will see a message saying "Imported: DANTRIX AIRLINES: For Forum Members". Close that window. [*]Goto "File > Update VoicePack". If you have never used this program, it is great. It can also update several other things of your default ATC. With options like choosing which ATC phraseology and even how fast they speak. It will also add hundreds of other choices to your default ATC list. If you are running it for the first time it may prompt you to check your settings. [*]Click "Update". Once it does it's thing, you're finished. Load up FSX and enjoy. This program is for FSX (as is my file.) I am not certain, but think my attached file would work with the FS9 version. To download the FS9 version, refer to their download page. http://partyatdans.com/DanTrix_Xpress.mp3You'll also see that it adds the correct names in FSX (a different thing not discussed here)*This is taken from a much more thorough tutorial I wrote on my forum. i9 10920x @ 4.8 ~ MSI Creator x299 ~ 256 Gb 3600 G.Skill Trident Z Royal ~ EVGA RTX 3090ti ~ Sim drive = M.2 2-TB ~ OS drive = M.2 is 512-gb ~ 5 other Samsung Pro/Evo mix SSD's ~ EVGA 1600w ~ Win 10 Pro Dan Prunier
