Why not a 787 from PMDG?
Well if they ever end up making a 787 I hope the battery fire is simulated correctly.... Luke Stevens

Pilot and FO in the NGX
I don't think you read that correctly. Luke Stevens

The J41
I have to admit the J41 was quite a learning curve for me. Ive been simming for more than 10 years and own the 744X, MD-11 and NGX and the key jetstream was a tough one to get my head around. Systematically, boeing planes are nearly identical in layout and you can transition between them with ease, I love the J41 but you really need to read up before you get into it.

Secret project #3
"What if I go outside then the 777 is released? Is that your sick plan.." -flyerboy You would come back to your home after an awesome day out with your friends or significant other, do a few things around the house sit down and check the PMDG forum on your personal computer, phone or tablet (if thats how you choose to live your life) and find the forums abuzz with activity and type in the URL to the mother site triumphantly and proceed to make your purchase and spend the night flying the mighty T7. All good things in moderation.

PMDG Conference Videos
Thats funny, my German girlfriend has a very dry sense of humor. She must of picked it up from living here in Australia. She always talks about how most Germans dont have a much of a sense of humor. Hahaha Luke Stevens

777 EFB
I may be imagining things, but one of the earlier MSFS versions worked with an Internet explorer tab in the kneeboard (I'm not really sure) that sort of thing could be handy for reading charts. I think an EFB could be a great thing to use in a manner similar to the NGX' fmc for load management and carrier option selection as well as displaying relevant charts selected from PDF files in a relevant folder in the aircrafts folder akin to a library for music, as well afford the selection of carrier options.Having said that the fmc option system in the NGX would make this redundant aside from chart viewing. Not a perfect idea but it would be interesting to see what PMDG do with the T7, my money is ready when they are.Regards, Luke Stevens

What did you get for Christmas?
Cressi 'Castoro 2', seemed reasonably priced. I'm actually just getting into diving in the next couple of weeks I'm going to start with my PADI open water certification. It is something I've always wanted to do. Being a chef it will keep me busy on the weekdays I have off. I bought a GOPRO HD Hero 2 for myself for Christmas to document it. I'm really excited about it all. It's a small world finding someone on a flight sim forum with similar interests. Looking forward to a trip up to the great barrier reef, ahhh it's so tough living in australia with beautiful reefs so abundant with marine life.

What did you get for Christmas?
I got a MY'03 Subaru Impreza RS, lol well my parents helped me with a loan for it anyway. Oh and a wetsuit. Luke Stevens

Does PMDG do an Xmas special?
Yeah, I've seen travoltas 707 at Sydney before. That airport is no stranger to exotic aircraft, I've seen a DC-8's fly out and an antonov 124 ruslan, that was quite a sight.

Does PMDG do an Xmas special?
I quite often sit at the beach at YSSY in my spare time. It's a good place to think in peace and watch the planes do their thing. It's relaxing to take an SLR and get some good pics. It always makes my day hearing an MD-11 check in on approach or call ready, an MD-11 departure is always a spectacle.

Does PMDG do an Xmas special?
FEDEX and UPS fly MD-11s out of YSSY to gangzhou and Honolulu, I've managed to get some good pics of FEDEX 77 rotating right in front of the tower, makes me want to buy it. Then I will own most of the FSX products except the -8 and LCF.Regards Luke stevens

Boeing 737CL request
Yeah you have zero chance of being able to run the NGX I had trouble to begin with before I tweaked the settings. My system is a mid range i7 system: i7 950 @ 3.8ghz, 6gb ram, 1gb GTX560, win 7 64-bit.It's a steep add-on, I upgraded during the wait for the NGX anticipating all kinds of performance issues.Regards, Luke Stevens

pmdg liveries not being listed in atc
I think he means the callsign used to adress you in fsx' default atc. There is a line in the specific livery section of the aircraft .cfg, I believe there is another .cfg responsible for this in the fsx root directory. But I'll leave that for someone more knowledgable to answer. Regards, Luke Stevens

Who else has found it?
I never experienced the skeleton issue fortunately, I was sitting at the gate with the doors open and messing about looking at the detail in the external model and saw something round in the rear bay. Well played pmdg.... Well played.....

Who else has found it?
My apologies if this topic has been touched on before, The forum search function on the iPhone is not ideal.I dont have a pic of it on my phone but there appears to be a Segway in the aft cargo bay of the NGX ( I saw it in a -700WL) is this a replacement for the pogo stick? I've been looking everywhere for it...... Haha ;)Regards from sunny YSSY, Luke Stevens

Interesting waypoint names
At YSSY there used to be a star for RW34L that used a fix called AUDLY over the royal national park which is a popular BBQ spot, so it used fixes such as RISOL and SOSIJ. Rissoles being a popular food on the Australian BBQ Regards, Luke Stevens

Ground speed records
Of course the airspeed was subsonic for the assumed atmospheric conditions, I aknowledged that in my post. I was amazed this was the case. I'm a chef not a scientist.....

Ground speed records
I'm curious about the 752 knot 747-400, that is faster than the speed of sound (in theory), but it has a subsonic airspeed. I'm slightly confounded by this. That is pretty cool.....Luke Stevens
