December 6, 201114 yr Hi,I'm trying to get the 737NGX to be able to use an ILS added to an airport not originally equipped with one. I used ADE9x to extend the runway, pave it and add CAT III ILS on both ends. That works fine. The NGX receives the signal and indicates for the localizer and glideslope correctly, and the autopilot correctly captures the localizer. However, approach mode fails to engage. Sometimes it will just indicate "SINGLE CH" without actually engaging, sometimes the "CWS R" indication comes up.To the best of my abilities to investigate how to do it, I added/changed all the required information in the navdata files in the PMDGNAVDATA directory and added a basic file in the SIDSTARS directory for the airport.Do I really have to add a bunch of fixes and an appropriate approach entry in the SIDSTARS .txt file for the NGX's app hold mode to work? Or would something else being going wrong here? Thanks in advance,Dave C. Declared weather: FSX: ASN / FS9: ASE
