Flying a Slingsby T67 being introduced to the delights of an “Avalanche” . Pennines snow covered to the west; North York Moors to the east ;Vale of York below all bathed in golden Winter’s sunlight.....just beautiful. My confidence was soaring.... unsurprisingly as I had an ex-British Unlimited Aerobatics Champion sitting next to me as my instructor.(We’ll see just how confident I really am when I come to do it by myself.) Unfortunately you’ll be hard pressed to emulate this maneuver in X-plane and as far as any iteration of MSFS.....eerrrhhh well don’t even bother.Anyway as we all know with ” Freedom comes Responsibilities” and with “Fun-time comes Housework”.As I sit desperate this morning the list consists of : go buy the Christmas Tree (what did a conifer ever do to me to warrant being cut down!): cut the lawn (it’s friggin winter why? CFS2, CFS3, FS9, FSX, XP9, XP10, Prepared3D, Aero FS or the upcoming Flight with Hawaii and with or without the rest of the world ?Or is it "As Real As It Gets" vs the "plausible" ?Or are you going to cop out and run to Home Depot or Walmart to get a plastic Christmas tree and wash the windows so you can hope for a decent home cooked edible and tasty meal prepared by the Mother In Law ?

Shovelling a metre of snow didn't think of that. Yep on reflection I'll stick with the lawn mowing. There's UK snow (OMG we/ve got 5cms country comes to a stop) and then there's the real deal "Canadian Style" snow.Got the tree (plastic..you're kidding aren't you!) IN RECORD TIME. 5 minutes flat from entering farm-yard to leaving with plastic netted beauty of nature on car roof.
