Saitek AV8R-01 Drivers

Featured Replies

I have just upgraded to Win 7 64bit. My joystick is not found and a search for drivers only finds programs that want to investigate for all missing drivers instead of just letting me download them. Anyone have a good link for an installation software and drivers. Thanks

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately this didn't help. My joystick still isn't recognized by Windows

I have two win 7 64 computers and I have two AV8R's, one plugged into each computer and they were both recognized by Windows.

Figures Bob, I can figure it out. I know that the USB is good because I have swapped cable around and the red lightis illuminated.

Problems like this are aggravating, that's for sure. I've learned that getting power through a USB port doesn't necessarily mean it's communicating. For some bizarre reason I've noticed on some computers I've had in the past that rear ports might work when front ports don't. I don't know how many USB ports you have but I'd try them all after unplugging your stick and a reboot. Good luck.

I did some exhausting research at work today (in other words I asked somebody). My new motherboard has both usb 2.0 and 3.0, and I was told that the joy stick may not like the 3.0 so I am going to move some things around later. If not I am going to order a yoke from Amazon. :-)
