Oil Temp Inop
It should come up a little more Ed and theoretically the oil cooler will keep it in the proper operating range from there. I'm no air file guru I just tinker a bit, but happy to help when I can. That's not to say Carenado's fix will be any more sophisticated. However, I see that version 1.1 is now out so hopefully all will be well.

Oil Temp Inop
Go to your favorite air file editor. Go to value 543 [REC] Engine Oil Temperature then down to [DBL] Oil Temp Limit [deg R]. Change the value to 760. Back up your original air file first, of course.

GTN 750 brightness
It is annoying and not just at dusk or dawn. The brightness complaint has been raised several times about all FSW models with the GTN integration. Flysimware not only won't fix it, they won't even discuss it. I decided not to buy the Lear after a friend reported the same issue with that model.

Outstanding paints Staffan, they turned out GREAT! I know how difficult it is working with Carenado's mapping, you did a fantastic job. Thanks for the time you put into these. Hope to see the bronze one as well if you aren't too worn out by now.

MU-2 Wing Lump
I noticed on top of the left wing there's a lump or crease on it running just ahead of the flaps almost the length of the wing. At first I thought it was from the angle / position of the sun but it's always there and it doesn't appear on the right wing. I took these shots at low sun just to help show the problem. Nit picky? Maybe. But this model is so nice it deserves to be as perfect as it can get. -Bob

So I took the plunge and started to repaint the PA-31. Part 3
Outstanding work Staffan!! Really looking forward to these.

Lear 35 OOM issue
Well said? You're kidding, right? Martin obviously hasn't read through all 8 pages of this thread. You continue to completely ignore the fact that the people having OOM's have stated that NO other models even those far more sophisticated than Flysimware's Lear have ever caused them any OOM's in any scenery they own regardless of complexity. Some stating they have never had an OOM issue in their entire history with FSX until your Lear came along. So you're honestly recommending that someone dump their entire FSX installation, all their payware planes and scenery, buy P3D and start all over again just to accommodate your Lear? When NO OTHER MODELS are causing them OOM's? Does your product page say P3D is required? I didn't know you worked for PMDG's customer service. Glad you know for a fact that PMDG has never provided a refund.

Lear 35 OOM issue
You're making a few assumptions here. One is that everyone who has purchased it has installed it and test flown it. It's common for folks to do some pattern work and short flights while getting acquainted with a new model. According to this thread the OOM's don't occur until a flight length of approx. 250 miles. Not everyone emails or hangs out on forums. You're assuming that just because 99% haven't contacted you in one form or another that they aren't experiencing any problems. That's if the 99% number you quote is anywhere near accurate. But let's say it is only 1% that are having issues. If it's such an insignificant number then so is 1% of the revenue you've received for this model. So for the 1% that can't get your model to work on their systems, do the right thing. Give them a refund.

Outstanding job, especially considering the horrible mapping. Nice work! Would also like to see a US registration if you're so inclined.

Real World F406 at Work?
I've seen flight paths like that several times on Flightaware. Usually done by some company with an aerial survey name, not the holding company. Lot of back and forth going on there. Not sure why the two names for this plane. Maybe depending on country?

Best FSX Turboprop?
Excellent choice. You won't be disappointed.

Release of the Lear 35A Imminent
 This isn't the only Lear 35A in the works. I'm going to wait until they're both out and compare/contrast.

FYI Turbine Duke V2 release
Thanks for making this available!! -Bob

New PC12 repaint WIP
Wow, excellent job! It's so difficult trying to figure out Carenado's texture mapping I've all but given up. Nice job using paths to make those curves. I wanted to attempt this one but quickly realized I didn't have the talent to pull it off...

Stealth S550 Citation II Shhhhhhh
Pretty kewl. You even got all the little niggly bits painted, antennas and whatnot.

Repaints - First cut at some small tail numbers and a T-47A
Wow, very impressive!! -Bob

Repaints - First cut at some small tail numbers and a T-47A
Excellent job Ray!! To say Carenado's textures are difficult to work with is a huge understatement. The smaller N numbers look much better. Also nice to see an N number on the paint depicted in your second pic. Do you plan to make these available for download? The T-47 also looks great. Looks like a finished paint! -Bob

Citation II S550 - The (potential) bugs thread
LOL, ever meet a guy with 3 or 4 ex-wives? Sure is pretty, I just know it'll work this time. Well sometimes it's the only game in town. Or only recent release of a plane you really want. As Rob points out, maybe a cash infusion will prompt the developer to do a comprehensive patch. There is a lot of talent among the customers who participate in these forums, like Bert for example. People who can tweak everything from avionics to FDE to textures. Sometimes we buy hoping the local talent can fill in where the developer falls short. That, however, does not make the developer immune from criticism, especially as the prices of add ons ratchets up. -Bob

Citation II S550 - The (potential) bugs thread
Part of the problem Glenn is that you'll invariably get the usual comments saying "it's just a game and FSX limitations and it only costs as much as one dinner out" etc, etc. This completely ignores that for the same price other developers are able to get far far closer to performance specs than Carenado and usually with far better overall attention to detail. Aside from the graphics, not much to see here. And I don't usually come away from a dinner out irritated as hell. -Bob

Conquest Autopilot and GTN Flight Plan
I use my own autopilot pop up panel Mike, but it calls for the same commands. I haven't had an issue with it following the GTN750 or flying a coupled approach. Wish I could be more help. -Bob
-
Citation II S550 - The (potential) bugs thread
I agree. Of course these early Citations were not a Saturn V or even a Learjet, but going by book values this thing is way off in it's performance envelope. The ITT to fan speed ratio is way off, climb performance is way off even given being the pig that it is RW. This thing needs a serious performance tweak. Bert: Thanks again for the GTN install info, it fits nicely there. Despite it's other faults, it does fly a nice coupled approach.

Carenado citation first review?
Ray, You say you did a full power take off. Were all engine instruments in the green, particularly the ITT during the take off roll and climb out? -Bob

Contrails
Yeah, that's right. Turboprops make contrails too. What this plane needs now is more liveries. I wish I was a more talented painter, but alas, I'm not.
