MU-2 Wing Lump

Featured Replies

I noticed on top of the left wing there's a lump or crease on it running just ahead of the flaps almost the length of the wing. At first I thought it was from the angle / position of the sun but it's always there and it doesn't appear on the right wing. I took these shots at low sun just to help show the problem.

Nit picky? Maybe. But this model is so nice it deserves to be as perfect as it can get.

I have noticed the same thing, guess im not the only one! Doesn't detract from the model, this is seriously the most fun business turboprop I've had the pleasure of flying. Hobbs is just under 400 hours on mine!

Yeah, saw this myself last night as I was doing a repaint. Not sure what's going on there. It's just on the one side and looks like it's somewhere near the spoiler. Would be good if that could be fixed

Thanks muchly for this! Really appreciate the fast service. Off to go flying

Looks like someone seriously stressed a wing spar, perhaps doing barrel rolls

Cheers
