NGs with Fail Operational autopilots have this button.I can't give you the full details as I'm yet to use it, but it's for recalling fault details in the event of degraded autoland status.

Out of curiosity, does this mean that FAIL OP Autoland planes have an EICAS of sorts? I know that full EICAS was not implemented for commonitality reasons (FAA declined to have the same typerating if the NG went full EICAS, IIRC)

Correct. There isn't exactly a ton of possible messages - but depending on your failure scenario Big%20Grin.gif you'll probably end up with NO LAND 3 or NO AUTOLAND. These can be cancelled and recalled at a later time using that button. FCOM Vol II 15.10.4 is your friend here.sig.gif
