December 12, 201114 yr Out of curiosity, does this mean that FAIL OP Autoland planes have an EICAS of sorts? I know that full EICAS was not implemented for commonitality reasons (FAA declined to have the same typerating if the NG went full EICAS, IIRC) --Peter Fabian

There isn't exactly a ton of possible messages - but depending on your failure scenario you'll probably end up with NO LAND 3 or NO AUTOLAND. These can be cancelled and recalled at a later time using that button. FCOM Vol II 15.10.4 is your friend here.
