I searched the forums and cannot seem to find an answer. I am trying to paint the 800NGX from the paint kit. When I open up fuselage 1 the only layer listed is "layer 134." I am using Paint Shop Pro Photo X2. I have done other repaint with this program so I don't know what would be happening.

What is your name?Do smaller size files work OK.I think the file is too large for (or other reasons converting to layers) for PSP.Possibly try Gimp and see if it works for you (test).?Edit:Sorry, I did not "read" your post!I assumed a file opening problem as you later mentioned .. memory out with PSP.

You should be painting to the master psd then cut each section to the appropriate fuse section

My name is Max.There is only 1 layer showing for the three fuselage files. There are A LOT the pop up for the tail file.It will not open the fuselage master. I get an error message saying not enough memory everytime

Hey Max, this has been talked about in another thread that I can't seem to find at the moment. A couple of people using an older version of PSP have this issue. If you're having out of memory errors or it's opening as 1 layer, chances are you too have an older version of PSP, not enough memory, or both, not sure. Do like Vaughan suggested and download Gimp. Another PSP user said he could not open some files I tested with him, but was finally able to see the layers after opening them in GIMP, and just saving them again. No idea why this is and him and I tried several tests yet not one psd I created and sent him worked until he saved it in GIMP.

I downloaded Gimp. Only one layer in Gimp as well. Saved it and still one layer in PSP. Maybe I will just redownload the paint kit.

One layer for which?pmdg_737NGX_fuselage_1, 2 & 3 are only one layer. pmdg_737NGX_fuselage_1_night is 2 layers.Like Gavin said you need to use the Master to do your painting. It's the only layer that will have the various dirt and such.People having issues sure don't give much info. Amount of ram in your system would be helpful when stating "Out of memory" errors don't you think? How's about version of PSP? This won't matter to me since I don't have, or use psp, but it might if someone comes along that does. Don't wait until asked when asking for support. Use common sense.
