I did a re-install of RCv4, and no issues now...but would still like a possible solution in case it occurs in the future...

After your reinstall please update fsuipc and makerwys from the pinned topic links. Then rebuild your rc database.If you like you can create at a shortcut to the rcv4.exe and set that shortcut property to run as admin, a program level, not a user level, privilege.

without a log, it's hard to say what your problem was before.
