December 22, 201114 yr Commercial Member Hello everyone,Based on the feedback here we suspect there may be an issue in AS2012 DWC update techniques which is contributing to this depiction result. We cannot yet confirm how widespread this is, if it is an FSX issue which we cannot address or something new and unique to AS2012 which we certainly can address. But we are looking into this in detail. The criteria so far is a problem with an apparent clear weather area around the aircraft which is not depicting expected cloud coverage, while the coverage beyond the immediate range of the aircraft appears correct, and this occurs intermittently which appears affected by the route, stations in the area and the actual conditions. We will be working on this as a priority to identify and understand this phenomenon as well as provide improvements as possible. Thanks for any additional details that you can provide (support.hifitechinc.com preferred) and for your patience while we work it out. Damian ClarkHiFi Simulation Technologies
December 22, 201114 yr Thanks for any additional details that you can provide (support.hifitechinc.com preferred) and for your patience while we work it out.i submitted a ticket along with some more details and log files etc.one thing i noticed was that if i disabled 'prevent cloud redraws' the overcast would suddenly appear, but then over the next 30 seconds or so it would gradually fade back to the same missing hole in the sky.cheers!-andy crosby
