wind data on ND

Featured Replies

Hi all.For some reason I don't see wind data on both CA and FO Inboard Display Units anymore. Sometimes it appears for a minute and then it's gone again for the rest of the flight. I really don't want to blame on latest SP but I have a feeling it happened soon after I installed it. I also purchased AS 2012 those days but I asked folks on AS forum and looks like no one have any issues with missing winds after installation AS 2012. Any ideas?Mary Christmas.

Based on AS 2012 it was pretty windy and FS Commander shows wind about 50-80 kts all the time. I was at FL 360-380 for about 2 hours several flights in a raw. May be good idea to open a ticket.

There is a fix for this pinned on the HiFi forumHi everyone,An issue with FSUIPC recent builds has been identified as causing wind issues in Active Sky's DWC mode when using the unregistered version, or registered version with wind smoothing disabled. This problem has been identified and fixed in 4.7.5.1, and is available from the Peter Dowson's FSUIPC support forum here: http://forum.simflig...pdated-modules/Please update your FSUIPC with this version (or later) to eliminate this problematic behavior. Please note that this only applies to those using FSUIPC, and does not affect those without.developer.jpgDamian ClarkPresident and Lead DeveloperHiFi Technologies, Inc.http://www.hifitechinc.comTry this and see if it fixes the problem. It worked for me.Don

Does HIFI recomend wind smoothing with 4.7.5.1?
