Aircraft turning by itself

Featured Replies

Hey guys,I have noticed lately my NGX has been drifting to the left when accelerating. I don't know if this is due to the wind (is 10 knoott wind enough to make the aircraft turn) or whether it is an in-game problem.Any advice?Kind Regards,Dan

It's normal to need a little rudder input during takeoff if that's what you mean. It's how the real 737ng acts as well.Edit: it will also have a tendency to turn into the wind on the ground as well.

Hi. Try adjusting your fsx aircraft realism settings. I just steer it down the centerline like you have to with real airplanes.Regards

I think the other two answered what's most likely causing your issue, but to add one other possibility that can also happen a lot is if you have line noise in your throttle axis(s). You should be able to spot that right away if looking at the MIP, but you'd be surprised at how many don't. What line noise does is the same as a badly calibrated or poor throttle. One might give more thrust then the other causing you to want to turn violently to one side or the other (normally to the left for Saitek throttles). There are several ways to clean that up, so just ask if that ends up being your issue.

I have the Thrustmaster T-Flight Stick X Joystick so I don't think that could cause the problem you are referring to as it's only one lever for thrust control...

I added it mainly for others that actually use the search function down the road since it is something that happens often. Thus the reason I said "I think the other two answered...". Speaking of which, you did try their suggestions didn't you (Or see if what was mentioned is your issue?)
