January 5, 201214 yr Of one of the most annoying things has happened to me AGAIN :sad:I don't know why but every few months my FSX decided to give me really bad stutters in the VC. I cant fly with it at all. I have done many searches on the FSX virtual cockpit stutters and tried mostly everything and did the tweaks in my fsx.cfgI haven't been able to fly now for over 2 weeks because of this issue, is anyone able to pass some direct help to solve this issue? Thanks in advance :)

January 5, 201214 yr Now that's odd, usually that clears up issues like this.Do you recall installing anything before it started stuttering?
January 5, 201214 yr Author No, nothing new was installed onto the PC or FSX. I have also done a reinstall of FSX to see if that changed anything and that didn't either :(

January 5, 201214 yr A couple of common sense things to check:I would first do a thorough virus/malware scan. As part of this open Task Manager, go to the Processes tab and check if there are any other programs, legit or rogue, putting heavy demands on your cpu. Could it be that your anti-virus app is doing its thing while you're running FSX?Is a defrag or backup process running automatically in the background? - Jev McKee, AVSIM member since 2006.
