Of one of the most annoying things has happened to me AGAIN :sad:I don't know why but every few months my FSX decided to give me really bad stutters in the VC. I cant fly with it at all. I have done many searches on the FSX virtual cockpit stutters and tried mostly everything and did the tweaks in my fsx.cfgI haven't been able to fly now for over 2 weeks because of this issue, is anyone able to pass some direct help to solve this issue?Thanks in advance :)

Have you tried deleting your shader cache?

No, nothing new was installed onto the PC or FSX. I have also done a reinstall of FSX to see if that changed anything and that didn't either :(

Issues always have a root cause. Your PC doesn't magically give you grief every 6 months! Let's get to the bottom of it without a reformat.New drivers for your 9800GT? Are you using Nvidia Inspector? If so, what are your settings?Are you overclocked? If so, have things reset to default?You said no new programs or installs, but have you updated any?

A couple of common sense things to check:I would first do a thorough virus/malware scan. As part of this open Task Manager, go to the Processes tab and check if there are any other programs, legit or rogue, putting heavy demands on your cpu. Could it be that your anti-virus app is doing its thing while you're running FSX?Is a defrag or backup process running automatically in the background?

Hi ZachNo new driver updates and no im not using Nvidia inspector, never have done either.No im not overclockedThe only things to update on my machine is windows updates (which are manual)

Hey JevHave done a virus/malware scan before and there are no odd processes in the task manager.I have tried fsx without my anti-virus running and same results.No defrag or backup process and running automatically in the background.Hope this helps a bit :/
