Hi I just wonder if FO could possible read weather as in turbolance perhaps wind sheer , The reason I am asking i am using fs flight keeper and fs captain for tracking they both recognize if turbolance present however non of them can use pmdg seatbelt sign , so I was curious as for just enhancement while flying as there is not much happenning from FO site if turbolance detected he could perhaps warn and toggle seatbelt sign on . Only as enhancement . Thanks Petr

I don't know how they do it... maybe they detect rate of change along the various axis's or something. But it's the kind of thing were if you get a "false turbulence" signal, your FO is going to be flipping on and off and seatbelt signs all the time.Unless it was fail-proof, it becomes problematic.
