January 5, 201214 yr Hi I just wonder if FO could possible read weather as in turbolance perhaps wind sheer , The reason I am asking i am using fs flight keeper and fs captain for tracking they both recognize if turbolance present however non of them can use pmdg seatbelt sign , so I was curious as for just enhancement while flying as there is not much happenning from FO site if turbolance detected he could perhaps warn and toggle seatbelt sign on . Only as enhancement . Thanks Petr
January 5, 201214 yr Commercial Member Hi Petr,It's a good idea, but 'detecting' turbulence in the sim is not possible.Cheers, B. York FS2Crew Web Site / FS2Crew Facebook Page / FS2Crew Discord
January 6, 201214 yr Author Ok I know there would be a problem , but how fs flightkeeper recognize turbolance . I know I am using ase weather and they are both set to read conditions from ase file but turbolance it isn't in sim predicted but mostly time just accurre . How come when using ezka camera plane start shaking when in turbolance how this apps recognize fs weather environment . Sorry I must be paint in the neck . Cheers petr
January 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member I don't know how they do it... maybe they detect rate of change along the various axis's or something. But it's the kind of thing were if you get a "false turbulence" signal, your FO is going to be flipping on and off and seatbelt signs all the time.Unless it was fail-proof, it becomes problematic.
