January 5, 201214 yr yeah I guess i wouldn't really notice it just browsing around the net...... it most always stays at 1600.00mhzI just tend to run P95 in the background when doing general stuff, nothing I could care about if computer freezes.
January 6, 201214 yr Author I've been running it for the past few mins and my temp has got up to 61 on one of the cores... I'm still at 1.27 vcore... What temp should I start worrying at?
January 6, 201214 yr Author I haven't been able to make it crash with any benchmarking program and and I'm at 1.27. What am I doing wrong?
January 6, 201214 yr Author Well guys I couldn't get my computer to crash during Prime95 or OCCT.... But when I shut everything down I got this BSOD about half hour later when opening up Steam program to browse the downloads..
January 6, 201214 yr That's a number for not enough Vcore.See here:http://www.xtremesys...-BSOD-code-listOn my system 124 has always been Vcore, not VTT. Edited January 6, 201214 yr by Kosta
January 6, 201214 yr Shane, bump your vcore up to 1.325, and begin stress testing with prime 95 from there. If you have Hyperthreading turned on, try disabling it in the bios; It isn't needed for FSX anyway....you will need to run prime 95 blend test for at least 8-12 hours to determine basic system stability. Do not surf the internet or use the computer while the test is running, as it can cause errors in prime not related to overall clock and system stability. On my 2600k (and they are all different), I was able to 'reach' 5ghz. I NEVER will be able to get 5ghz stabile at a reasonable voltage, ant tempurature. So I have settled on [email protected], and temps never exceed 65c even after a 24 hour prime95 blend run. Oh....and my FSX is much smoother and less stuttery overall with the increased stability
January 6, 201214 yr It's stable so far today running prime95 @ 1.33vcoreThat sounds way more realistic. Are you running HT on or off?
January 6, 201214 yr on. Turn it off, you can go even higher with the multi, try 46 then 47 then 48, upping the vcore a bit more, just see what is needed for 48x, if it's not too much. And put:[JOBSCHEDULER]AffinityMask=14in your fsx.cfg.See only that your temps with Prime95 are below 75c.
