Anyone have any ideas? I finally saw wingtip vortices on ONE ai jet. Problem was they weren't anywhere close to the wingtip. More like ten feet away from each wingtip. No thrust snow blast in snowy conditions, or any contrails at all. They are gone! This was purchased because many people were raving about it. I don't see why. Not sure what is going on, but for now, its getting thrown in the old 'bin'.

Well, no contrails have been observed at all. Even in proper conditions. And in wet shouldn't I see effects there too from Ai? Wingtip vortices or spray?

Hello. Bought this primarily to improve effects on Ai aircraft. Now I have no contrails or effects on Ai aircraft. Do I need to use configuration for every Ai plane I have??

Looking to get feedback on whether or not I can use the Flight1 Citatuon Mustang, and King Air with my saitek panels. I have all 4 panels (radio, autopilot, multi, and annunciator) as well as one of the multi-function units that I use usually with an HSI showing. I use SPAD drivers, not stock saitek. I don't want to 'try this' or 'try that' . I am wondering if they work together out-of-the-box or not. If not, no big deal, I won't purchase them. Thanks in advance.

Thanks, Flyinion. I tried IBT as well, and passed sucessfully the first time on 'standard'. I guess it would be safe to assume the system is stable....passes all three stress tests I have tried, and I have run FSX for 5+ hours with Active sky 2, all my saitek gear and panels, in complex aircraft with modest settings and no problems. Coretemp shows FSX heating the cpu to 64C on the hottest core...the rest are a few degrees cooler. Looks like I am in the green!

Hello all. Wondering what everyones preferences were for stress-testing their overclock/system stability? I have used both OCCT and Prime 95 while o/c'ing my 2600k, and seem to now have the system as stable as it is going to get. One thing I noticed, though, is that they both seem to pick out different instabilities. My Prime runs generally turned up 101 codes after blue-screening; several runs later and vcore tweaks made, I achieved 24-hour stability on Prime95. Subsequent to that, I ran OCCt, and it bluescreened after 30 seconds!! It flagged a 124 code, which I researched as QPI/VTT first, then vcore. A few runs later, and the OCCT test passed the one-hour 'auto' test with no errors. Re-ran Prime95 one more time also with no errors. So I am wondering If this is something that you guys/gals do as well? I am really glad I decided to try more than one program. Thoughts?

Hello, I was wondering if anyone here can help me. It seems that I am having an issue with a specific combination of products. I have the saitek panels (all of them), the reality XP 430 and 530 WAAS, and two new addons I purchased during sales. The captainsim Buff, and C-130 pro pack. They simply don't want to work together. I removed the realityXP and replaced it with the default gps 500 and am having the same issues with that one. Is it the autopilots? My saitek panels are using the latest version of SPAD. I have registered FSUIPC. The RXP and saitek panels work well with other addons, but these two are problematic. Has anyone seen this, or know of a workaround? I even tried replacing the autopilots with the default bendix-king, and it still didn't work right....keeps flickering back and forth from nav to gps to nav etc....I have read many forum posts, but not found anything specific to my issue.And, as we are all aware, none of the three developers are exactly known for stellar support of their products...let alone interoperability with other addons...thanks in advance

Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help me with this; I noticed the other day while flying the realair Duke B60 that when I switch on the landing light on my saitek switch panel, only the left landing light illuminates. In the VC, there are 2 switches for the landing lights; one for the left side and one for the right side. Is there any way to have them 'connected' so that when i flip the switch both landing lights illuminate at the same time? If not, I can just keep doing it the way I have been by switching on the second light in the VC....thanks in advance!

Hmmm....well I am still not having any luck with this. The file I downloaded is not an exe...it does nothing at all when I click on it. I have it on my desktop, and with everything set up as you described, the file simply does nothing at all, except open a window telling me that windows doesn't recognize the file type? ...Ok Idiot that I am...I fixed it by adding '.exe' to the file name. Instantly it turned into the FSXflight icon and now it works!!!!

Well let me first give a bit more info.... I recieved the iPad3 as a gift about a week ago; I immediately downloaded the one-month free demo of Foreflight (It is widely used by my pilot buddies and they recommended it highly); I have not yet had a chance to use it in-plane, but I am confident that those functions necessary for my real-world flying will be A-plus. My home setup, however, is also important to me since I strive for as much familiarity and realism as I can get. I have a registered copy of the latest FSUIPC, and dotnet4. ...That is where the instructions lose me. I attempted to follow the 'do it the same way as in xplane' thing...but nothing shows up in the devices tab of Foreflight. The file itself...I dont know where to put it since the file itself doesn't do anything. My iPad isn't even being recognized by my FSX PC, and I am not entirely sure how to make it be recognized, as when I tried to allow the PC to 'discover' the iPad, nothing happened... ...Inside FSX, there is no drop-down selection for FSXflight or the iPad or Foreflight, and why would there be since the iPad isn't linked to FSX in any way? That is what I thought this little app would do. Hopefully the developer will respond to my email, and help me get it sorted, or someone who does get it to work will be able to shed some light on this since I would really like to use the Foreflight program with my FSX...

Well, I appreciate the tip, Sean. I actually tried downloading it to the iPad, and it wouldn't let me...I got a 'Safari cannot load this file' error or something like that...

I am glad to see that a topic on this new app has been created here.... I paid the $5 and downloaded the 'app' to my FSX PC...only to find that it doesn't do anything. It is a 112kb 'file' that windows doesn't know what to do with. I was almost expecting some kind of networking client or something that would allow an interface with FSX from the PC to iPad or vice-versa....but there are no instructions, so I don't even know where to start with this little 'file'.... ...And I emailed the support staff and have yet to recieve a reply....

I have been using ASE now for a while and it seems to do the job fairly well. My main complaint is that while flying the sim stutters and the sky flashes and all heck breaks loose while it is downloading and injecting the weather. This lasts for almost 30 seconds. I can't stand this behaviour. I tried the new REX+E+OD etc etc....but that was only marginally better. I use standard mode, not DWC. I am using the SP4 beta. Is this behaviour fixed/eliminated in AS2012? I have read a lot of posts and reviews and feedback but it doesn't seem that anyone cares about the 30 seconds of terror that occur every 15 minutes while the program injects the data. If this has been eliminated in AS2012 please let me know. I will buy the upgrade immediately. Thanks in advance

Wondering if there is a way to alter the aircraft cfg or panel cfg to allow both comm1 and comm2 to be active simultaneously? I have a number of other aircraft that allow this, but with the B200 and C90 i can't get both to work at the same time. I use a Live ATC program that runs on my comm2 channel, and therefore it must be active to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated

Is this aircraft compatible with the Saitek addon panels (multi, radio, and switch)? I will buy it if it is compatible, but not if I have to jump through hoops to get it to work with my panels...

Lee, you say the Mustang works with your panels? I was told by someone on the Flight1 forum that they didn't work with that addon. Humphh. Now I may have to look at that again...and try the 30-day thingy....

I have been told that the Flight1 182T is not compatible with my Saitek panel array (switch, autopilot, radio, and instrument)...I know that some addon aircraft are not compatible, but can someone here who has it please clarify that? I know that the carenado model will work, because all of their previous offerings work great with my panels. I can make a concession or two, as i have had to do with my eaglesoft Cirrus models, but I would like at least 85-90% functionality with them before making a $50 purchase....

It looks outstanding. I hope that 'built from scratch' means that there will be something more to it than default. I wish that carenado would integrate the Navigraph AIRAC update compatibility to the newer models as flight1 does. They make planes that are far superior in overall looks and modelling, and I would HAPPILY pay $50 for that kind of feature set in a Carenado aircraft. Especially the G1000's, as WAAS functionality is a must. I won't buy the F1 offerings as they resemble FS9 aircraft....despite having the functionality I desire. I don't expect it from Carenado, but It would be nice!
