RC2 looks fairly promising. I seem to have my performance back, and thing are running pretty smoothly again, though I only fly around for a couple of minutes.

I was about to play with it a bit but I got a beta for another racing game and swapped out all the controllers. I have to overcome the 'I cant be bothered swapping it all around again' before I give it a go. Hope its good though.
