January 13, 201214 yr Hi Guys,For the most part FSX is running pretty well for me on a new system. I am averaging upper 20's to 30 with the FPS limiter set at 30. I have applied most of NickN's settings as well as using Bojote's tweaker. I have an 17-920 overclocked to 4.0, and a GTX 275 - 1792 mb card also overclocked. While sitting on the runway at San Jose Intl., in the PMDG NGX, I am showing around 20 FPS during daytime. As soon as I switch to night, the FPS drops to 10 instantly. Ultimate Traffic is set to about 15%, and road traffic is about 10%. I also have Flight One's UTX and GEX. Any ideas how to get my FPS up? Thanks, Tom
January 13, 201214 yr Are you using the street lights in Ultimate Terrain? Those hit fps sometimes in big cities. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

January 13, 201214 yr They look cool but I don't use them for that reason. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

January 13, 201214 yr I use the street lights from utx but not the ?traffc lights (the second option under night lighting). Gives me acceptable frames and still looks pretty.
