January 13, 201214 yr Been playing around..Here is my version to have ADF and DME all in one. Yes it is not authentic, but it is doing the job for me.
January 13, 201214 yr Nice, but in the real aircraft, you would likely select the NDB transmitter as a waypointinto the second GPS, and monitor the distance from there.. Bert
August 12, 201411 yr What is required for that modification? sometimes the GPS misses a waypoint and then I can't get a DME readout. I tuned both NAV1 and NAV2 but I don't see where I can read the DME1 and/or DME2 distances when I am navigating. In the Piper Seneca II I had to kind of hack it to put the stock DME on the 2D panel (don't know why they didn't, it is IMPORTANT data) so that I could dock all those in a 2nd monitor to read them well when navigating. Then again, they didn't put the V/S gauge on that 2D panel either. E.G.Freelance IT Consultant www.PanamaVibes.com | www.lordofwingsPTY.com | www.coralys.com @aviationweb
August 12, 201411 yr No modification... but if you at that point, go to the "Nearest page" on the GPS and dial "Nearest VOR or Nearest NDB" you should find the waypoint listed, complete with distance. Bert
