I think the Q400 would be a perfect plane for WJ, it can carry a nice payload, its fast and it can get into smaller airports. Should be interesting

 

 

They are probably interested in growing on the popularity of Porter Airlines out of Toronto with its Q400 fleet. Porter Airlines has been very sucessful and WestJet could do similar operations like Porter in Western Canadian markets.Whatever works as I am not a fan of Air Canada. Westjet is a great airline. I've flown Porter from Toronto Island to Newark, NJ and thought that was an amazing little airline, Canada's only 4-star rated airline is Porter, it should be a model for other airlines to follow.Cheers
