Hello Team,I am looking to replace my ageing AMD 2200+ system with a modern up to date system.It will only be required to run FS9. Can you guys give me a minimum spec system thatwill run FS9 smoothly with few addons. I intend to buy a off-the-shelf pc as I am notpc educated!!Many Thanksnavyman

I'd imagine any new AMD system would work. Still I'd go for intel's i5 2500K overclocked with a GTX 560 ti. 4GB ram is fine.

4GB won't cut it. 8GB at least.As far as upgrading goes, don't waste your money. Save up some extra $$ and wait 2 months for the beloved Ivy Bridge CPU's and the Nvidia Kepler GPUs.

Agreed - ran FS9 happily on 1GB ram, and a 3700+ AMD for quiet a few years - with addons.
