Tokyo Narita Airport FSX

Featured Replies

For FSX to be really great, I think it is time we make a HD airport Tokyo Narita. This has at least 3 A380s visiting it, and Air Canada 777-300s, what else could you want?Seriously are their any rumours? I will build it as it is practically my home airport. How many people know that Narita has an Aviation museum at the South end of the airport? And there are 4 main viewing areas. Any guesses which ones I am referring to?Tokyo Narita is a major world airport, like EGLL, KJFK, KLAX, VHHH, WSSS, etc. It is one of Asia's biggest hubs. This may answer above questions if you haven't been. http://www2s.biglobe...t/spot_nrt1.htmThis link pretty much answers the questions above if you want to cheat. http://www2s.biglobe.ne.jp/~ito-nori/spot/spot_nrt4_1.html#museumDaniel

The entire Asian continent is really an untapped market. I thought that Overland would be remaking or porting their airports for Japan but still has not happened yet. Their RKSI Seoul, South Korea airport is well done though. It would be nice to see one of the better scenery developers focus on some of the airports for that region of the world.Lots of reasons why I like flying there, short hauls in heavies are common, interesting and diverse topography, daylight hours when most of Europe, North, Central, and South America are covered in darkness, just to name a few.

Thanks Cesar and Blaze.Blaze, you are correct. I usually do a 777-300 Cathay flight to Narita, but done it once in a 747-400. I remember in the 1990s the amount of 747-400s going in to Narita, especially by Northwest Airlines. Northwest was Narita's biggest 747 customer. You would easily see 5 747s. In the US or Europe there are no 747 flights (apart from LLBG to EGLL) like in Asia. But now you have AIr France, Lufthansa and Singapore Airlines flying their A380s into Narita.American Airlines fly their 777-200s into Narita.Qantas still fly its 747-400 into Narita, as far as I know.I would love to do a scenery for Narita.Daniel
