N1 Line Query.

Featured Replies

Hi guys just a quickie, when I move the throttles to 40% N1, there's a line on the engine display screen (I know it will have a more formal name LOL) this line moves as I move the throttles what color is it supposed to be White or Blue, mine is White but I could have sworn it used to be Blue ;) Thanks Wayne H.

The blue line only shows if the "show throttle position" is selected in the display options within the PMDG Options interface in the CDU. It can be selected to never show, only when moving, or always. It is not an actual feature of the real world NG as the throttles are always in the same position as the commanded thrust! Boeing philosophy.... :)The white line you are seeing I believe is correct.

Blue shows were the throttles are while the AT is on, this helps match the AT with manual thurst prior to disconnecting the AT system.

I think this is explained in the introduction PDFs that comes with the installation. Might be worth to give that a read
