Yep. You read the title right.I finally got the 600/700 series. I wanted a small airplane anyway, and it was only 24 bucks at the special PMDG sale before it goes up to $30. Downloading right now... Can't wait to test it out on the sexy Southwest livery! Batting%20Eyelashes.gif

Why did you have to call this "Finally?" It got my hopes up that an announcement was made! (Yes, I know... completely off topic)

Didn't know there was some sort of sale. I only own the base package now and always fly the 800 (Winglets) and usually my flights are 200 to 300 nm longs (so rather short, I guess). I always fly using the AP (obviously, I'd say) apart from take off and landing (although I also frequently autoland). So I wonder... will I notice a difference between flying the 800 and the 600 or 700...? The VC's are the same, right? What would be the advantage other then having a plane that (I guess) is used more often on shorter flights...? 25 bucks still is 25 bucks and if I won't notice a real difference, I wonder why I should get it... :(

They're the same airplanes, just shorter and sweeter. (LOL) It's more responsive, but yeah. The "sale" that I'm talking about was discussed here: http://forum.avsim.net/topic/358131-what-deal-are-they-talking-about-here/page__fromsearch__1Pretty much, in a few weeks, the price of the expansion pack will go up from $24.99 (That's exactly how much you pay... no tax) to $29.99.
