PMDG 737NGX - Engine problem

Featured Replies

I'm new to the PMDG B737NGX, and having a problem with both engines running as soon as I the aircraft appears; almost like a Wilco offering ( :( )!I would appreciate some guidance, please.Best regards,Ken

Ken,Read the manual, tutor flight also.

Best Regards,

I agree with the above, Ken. The Introduction manual will tell you how to set some of the aircraft's options via the FMC so that it'll load into a particular state (shut down, long turn, quick turn, etc).

Hi Vaughan, thanks for your reply. I'm an ex pat from the PSS B777 where we start up from C and D, so I'm finding it a little strange to find my way around the cockpit with the sound of engines filling my ears :) - could turn the sound off, of course Nail%20Biting.gif- but that wouldn't be 'cricket'.Bye for now,Ken

Ken, you do understand that it's possible to load the sim with the engines off, correct? How to do it is in the intro manual. That intro has pictures, so it's a lot better than trying to simply explain it here, which is why we're simply referring you to it.

Hello Kyle,Thank you for your reply.I'll have a look for the Introducton Manual.(shut down, long turn, quick turn, etc).- reminds me a little of the Ballroom Guru Victor Sylvester.....perhaps a little before your time.Best regards,Ken

You're welcome, Ken.He was before my time, sure, but I also used to teach ballroom dance, so I'm familiar.
