Crash to DT when using drop down menus
Hello, Since migrating to FSX I've suffered a number of CTD's; in the end I went to my Aircraft folder, sorted out about 10 of my least (if ever) used aircraft and placed them into folder I named Hangar! That cured the problem. The problem, for me, was a second PC that I used for ASG and a couple WideFS items. Ken

Re: FSX Aircraft
Hi Jim, It's a bit weird, the cockpit panel will light up at sunset, but not the right hand section which deals with Navigation etc. It seems that if you want to fly at night, buy a commercial aircraft, or fly in daylight . Ken

Re: FSX Aircraft
Hi, I'm fairly new to FSX and am using the standard aircraft. The problem I have is that the aircraft e.g 172 does not have the instrument lit up? Is this a problem that I ought to be able to sort out, or is it a case of purchasing an aircraft? Best regards, Ken

FSX Surrounded by FS2004?
Hello Julian, thanks for your quick reply. My FSX Folder has all the folders within it, outside of that folder are FS2002 and FS204. I'm just concerned that those folders are taking up space that could freedup. My PC is not all that speedy and any HP (Horse Power would be gratefully) received. Best Regards, Ken

FSX Surrounded by FS2004?
I'm not sure if I'm in the correct Forum, but I'll continue. i've only been running FSX for just over 6 months, and it's been a full time getting it settled down. However, I've just discovered that my FSX Folder is surrounded by FS2004 and FS2002 folders? Would I be in serious trouble with problems from FSX is I deleted all other FS Folders than those withing the main FSX Folder? Best regards, Ken

PMDG 737NGX - Engine problem
Hi Vaughan, thanks for your reply. I'm an ex pat from the PSS B777 where we start up from C and D, so I'm finding it a little strange to find my way around the cockpit with the sound of engines filling my ears :) - could turn the sound off, of course - but that wouldn't be 'cricket'.Bye for now,Ken
