February 11, 201214 yr So I moved back to FS9 once I got my new Laptop as I wanted to Fly the PSS/POSKY 777 Merge. First I'll let you know what I have installed:FS9 9.1UK2000 EGLL V2AESPSS 777 (CD)POSKY 777, freeware sounds and models.Squawk Box 4 (VATSIM)Now I flew EGLL-KORD, 7 hours later I was just entering the correct Altitudes for the STAR and the next thing I knew FS9 froze! Very annoying so I just thought it was a fluke. Done EGLL-CYYZ, KBOS-EGLL no problems then last night I done UAE201 OMDB - KJFK and once again just before descent FS9 Froze, after 13 Hours Airborne! Now I'm not prepared to touch FS9 for Long Haul but am determined to get a fix some how as I really want to fly the T7. I was thinking about re-installing everything as I only have a few addons and wouldn't be too big of deal, a little annoying but any fixes before I do that?Cheers! February 11, 201214 yr HelloI was going to suggest you try Pete Dowsons autosave utility. Whilst not an ideal solution ,it does at least allow you to re-load your flight from the point just before your FS9 lockup and try again , or at least shove your aircraft a little further along in your flight plan and try from that point.Trouble is I think there are problems with it if you use complex payware aircraft with FMCs etc etc etcAndrewPSFS9 crash after twelve hrs of flight certainly must test your flightsimming loyalties.
February 11, 201214 yr Does your event viewer show anything ?It could be a scenery problem or an AI texture. Have you updated any AI textures recently ? Peter Schluter

If no fix might just fly the LDS 767 on FSX and wait for CS's 777 Base Pack! - Luke Pabari
