February 13, 201214 yr Yesterday I changed FSX save for the built in utility of FSUIPC4 to save my flights. Now I experience the following problem. When I reload a flight there is a VNAV disconnect. I can connect VNAV again, but there remains a message "no autoland" below engine one in my lower eicas display and I do not know how to clear this message. Can anyone help?Frans Mulder

February 15, 201214 yr I know that autosave files are saved in the NGX panel_state folder, as well as the FSX flight folder. I just found 1300 of the blighters.Look for file with this name AutoSave Thu 000819.FLT.fmc and RTE ext.Z:Flight Simulator XPMDGPMDG 737 NGXPanelState is where you will find themAnd Y:userDocumentsFlight Simulator X FilesDelete them all and see if that fixes the problem. I sometimes forget to flush them out. Not sure if there is an option to delete them after a certain time. Will have to check with Pete Dowson about that.I have mine set at 600 secs, airborne only. I use the Autosave function mainly as an anti OOM device. February 17, 201214 yr Ok, thanks.I was asking because in the last couple of flights autoland didn't work for me and I have no idea why.. I enabled autosave function a few weeks ago and I thought that could be a reason. I guess it's something else than. Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery

February 20, 201214 yr http://forum.avsim.n...f-memory-error/ ... comment #7.Yes,And PerterH said about AutoSave::"I asked PeteD about this and he didn't think that there was any connection." Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
February 20, 201214 yr Well, the sentence before that one:"Again using the latter fix and using VMMap you could see that the fragmentation of the VAS was less."But I'm not using autosave anymore, thats why I said:"I used autosave..." :wink:I wouldn't say there is a connection between autosave and OOMs (for preventing) but I wouldn't say it isn't either. February 20, 201214 yr Well, I have never experienced an OOM with any Microsoft PC, Windows PC or any MS OS since I started simulated PC flight going back as far as one of MSFS' first simulators, SubLogic.Maybe I have just been lucky! Best Regards, Vaughan Martell PP-ASEL KDTW
February 20, 201214 yr Maybe I have just been lucky! It depends on your system and addons used. Too many variables. Many people get OOMs. Tomaz Drnovsek My FSX Videos My AVSIM Gallery
