What's with the ER, BBJ,…?

I believe that airplane is now operating for Gulf Air from Zurich.
That is true. Also starting in a week or two, PrivatAir will not be flying the LSZH-KEWR-LSZH route any more. Swiss will be taking over the route with an Airbus 340-300.

Correct, it flies with Gulf Air with Swiss registration so my guess is that Gulf Air leased it. I've seen it in Copenhagen as well :smile:However the flight was to/from Bahrain not Zurich :(

The BBJ will finally fill an empty FSX genre of ultra long range biz jets. There is also a BBJC which is basically a BBJized version of the 737-700C. I hope PMDG considers this version, perhaps with the C-40 package. To me this would be the ultimate version...like having a 737 sized PC-12. From Wiki"BBJ C is a variant of the BBJ featuring the "quick change" capabilities of the 737-700C. This allows the aircraft to be used for executive duty during one flight, and to be quickly reconfigured for cargo duty for the next flight."

Man I can't wait fot those BBJs to come out. At the moment I am "on the way" from Budapest (LHBP) to St. Maarten (TNCM) via Ponta Delgada, Azores (LPPD) fuel stop in the middle of the Atlantic. I am right now parked in LPPD, 10 mins ahead of schedule:-( It took 5 hours and 10 minutes from LHBP to get to LPPD (distance around 2050 NM), with 15600 kg of fuel loaded before departure, and now I have 3500 kg after landing. The second leg of the journey is approximately 2300 NM and I estimate a flight time of 5:50 or so.In fact, the Azores also make a great stopover to those wishing to fly their NGX accross the Atlantic, say. between Europe and Caribbean. Splitting the flight into two legs, from Europe via the Atlantic to the eastern part of Caribbean is something achievable. And when the BBJs will be released, we can just skip the landing on the Azores:-)
