February 17, 201214 yr I am having great difficulty getting multiple colour schemes and registration numbers to appear in UT2. I have tried creating repaints where each aircraft has an assignment of "1", but it doesn't work. I still see multiple examples of the same plane, sometimes sitting next to each other! I do not understand why this is happening. To be honest, I am still rather suspicious of the repaint utility. If there are five different (for example) Jet2 737s, but the repaint utility only shows "Jet2" as a single variation, how does UT2 know to assign five different colour schemes? I am not convinced that it is doing this.I set all of the Jet2, Easyjet, and Flybe planes to an assignment of "1", and yet when I checked Manchester, there were two Jet2 737-300s, 3 Easyjet A319s, and 4 Flybe Dash 8 Q400s, and every single one was an exact copy of the other (same colour scheme and registration).I keep thinking that I have done something wrong, but I do not understand what. I have learned how to add WoAI packages to UT2, and it is a relatively straightforward process, but how the hell do you get different colour schemes and registration numbers to appear when they have already been assigned? Why isn't each one shown as a variation in the "Create Repaints" utility? It is extremely frustrating! February 17, 201214 yr I like UT2 but I'm personally disappointed how many liveries are lacking in this program. I paid money for a reason, not to be sitting in front of the PC and adding liveries to UT2. While we're on the subject, I'd like to also know how to add WoA aircraft with multiple tail numbers into assignments. Jacek G. February 17, 201214 yr Author Oh, and here is another aspect that puzzles me. I removed the native UT2 versions of the relevant aircraft before creating the repaints for particular airlines, so why do they myseriously reappear at times when I check out the repaints utility again? February 17, 201214 yr Author Well, now I don't seem to be able to delete the repaints that I have created. I click on "Remove Aircraft", but nothing happens. I would like to get rid of the "single" assignment versions, and go bak to "Unlimited", but if I can't remove the "single" assignment ones, then I am stuck.A great start to the weekend. February 18, 201214 yr Guys search the UT2 forums there's a step-by-step thread for using WoAI (I've used it with great success) with UT2 and also tons of other questions and answers people have already asked Drew Sikora Staff Blog Founder/Designer, MSE Airports
February 18, 201214 yr Why not just use the WOAI packages straight up?I wondered the same. Woai is simplicity in itself and works beautifully, isn't that enough?
February 18, 201214 yr Author Someone at the UT2 forum has answered my question. It seems that the ui_variation statement in the aircraft.cfg file needs to be different for each aircraft in UT2, so that's what I will be doing this morning :( Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
