XPAX - just does not initialize/ Locks up FSX

Featured Replies

Hi Everyone:I love trying to use XPAX - when it works for me. I have 2 issues - first, it is hit or miss as to when it initializes or not. For example, if I load FSX, then load XPAX, sometimes I can skip to another state (like Taxi or Takeoff). Other times, it just will not do anything when I hit the "skip to state button". Even if I reload the program, it still does not always work. Sometimes rebooting FSX works to get it to initialize. Other times it works fine. I choose to start FSX first because it often will lock up FSX at some point in my flight if I load XPAX first. But lately, it seems whenever I use XPAX, at some point FSX seems to "stop responding" and I have to close down FSX. This is maddening! I never get any lockups when I do not use XPAX, but I love the program & want to keep using it. Doe anyone know why it will not consistently initialize? (The parking brake is always on when I begin, and it always is able to refresh the current aircraft, but it just will not change the state to whatever I choose in the menu). Thanks,Chris Catalano

Well I have alot better luck with X pak then you are having. I can change to whatever state I want whenever I want. X pak always connects, never crashes FSX. I do multiple landing flight plans using a 3rd party Flight Planner, deplane and reload at each landing. One thing I would like to see is when you mouse over the seating diagram, " the reason" certain passengers have given you lower marks for that flight .

Xpax is terrific and cheap as well. However I need to turn the sound down as my living room sounds like Heath row.

The volume does not work. Any solutions
