February 20, 201214 yr When I tune into the ATIS frequency, running AS2012 for weather, is the voice that I am hearing generated by PMDG or AS2012. I know it has to be one or the other because I have ATC defaulted off. Thanks Phill Dant
February 20, 201214 yr From what I know the NGX can't generate an ATIS voice. That is usually done by FSX ATC, but when you say it is turned off it must be AS2012 doing it. I beleave it has an option about voice ATIS somewhere, you may want to look at it. Greetings from the 737 flightdeck!
February 20, 201214 yr It's AS2012 most likely. Active Sky gives you the option to use it's own data for ATIS broadcasts instead of using FSX's default ATC. It then uses a voicepack of it's own to generate the broadcasts. In ASE, the ATIS frequency is 122.0 for weather info from the closest airport and 122.025 for your arrival airport, in case you have filed a flight plan in ASE. Don't know how it works on AS2012, though. But it's not the NGX. Edited February 20, 201214 yr by barfra1995 Matheus Mafra
