February 28, 201214 yr I know wrong forum, but no one answers in mesh, which is better, fsgenesis or fsglobal?
February 28, 201214 yr I can't speak to fsglobal, but I have used fsgenisis for years without any complaints.

February 28, 201214 yr FSGenesis Mesh gets a little more attention from it's developer, so there's fewer anomalies. I also "stack" FSGenesis' landclass with UTX and GEX. What I get is ultra accurate road, city, town, railroad, etc placement with very accurate terrain mesh. I've also noticed there's much fewer "plateaus" around airports in the US. I can't speak for the other countries as I haven't gotten around to downloading them. Hey Zach,Can you elaborate on that a little?Back when I re-installed FSX when I built my current system couple years ago, I did not re-install the FS Genesis landclass, only the Mesh, as I had purchased UTX. I figured I did not need it since I had UTX...What do you mean by " stacking" ? Trying to see if it is something I should consider doing? Thanks, Don B

Trying to see if it is something I should consider doing? Thanks, What do you mean by "stacking"?I structured the FSGenesis' landclass in a way that allows me to add it via FSX's Scenery Library. (D:Microsoft Flight Simulator XAddon SceneryFSGsceneryfsglcx_us.bgl) To "stack", I've placed my FSGenesis folder between UTX Urban and UTX Vegetation. So my Scenery Library looks like this:UTX URBANFSGUTX VEGETATIONWhat I've found is that around the areas I fly (I frequent them everyday from the air in real life), things look much more accurate.
