March 14, 200422 yr HelloHere is what I want to do, but I thought I would check with the forum first. I want to hook up two Joysticks, throttles and rudders pedals to my computer. I want to use my old thrustmaster (F-22, TQS, Rudder pedals) to the serial port for use when flying Falcon 4.0 and use my CH Yoke and pedals for flying FS9. Is there an easy to do this and select which system I want to use depending on what sim I want to fly? I don't want to disconncet the wires each time I want to use a different sim. Thanks and regardsEd

March 14, 200422 yr Ed:I don't have an answer for you, but I hope someone else does, because I'd like to hook-up a sidestick for Airbus flying in addition to the yoke & rudder pedals set-up I have for the big Boeings.http://www.2decker.com/media/solent1-2.JPGAlex ChristoffN562ZBaltimore, MD PowerSpec G426 PC running Windows 11 Pro 64-bit OS, Intel Core i7 11700K @ 3.60GHz 30 °C, 4089MB NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 , ASUS TUF Z590-Plus Gaming motherboard, Samsung 870 EVO 2TB SSD, Samsung 750 EVO 500GB SSD, Acer Predator X34 34" curved monitor (external view), RealSim Gear G-1000 avionics suite, RealSim Gear GNS 450, Slavix Stay Level Custom Metal Panel, Honeycomb Alpha Yoke, Redbird Alloy THI, Saitek Combat Rudder Pedals.
March 14, 200422 yr Author I don't have Falcon 4.0 but for FS2004, I would start with a fresh copy of FS9.cfg, plug in all the peripherals, start FS2004, let it stabilize, the select settings, assignments. Select each of the listed joysticks, yokes, pedals in turn and deselect every switch and axis you don't want that peripheral to use. Do this for Main and Slew modes. Once you have made your choices, close FS2004.Using Windows Explorer, open FS9.cfg and enter LOCKED=1 in every joystick section (Main/Slew):[JOYSTICK_MAIN {A19257E0-7676-11D7-8001-444553540000}]LOCKED=1You will have a set (MAIN/SLEW) for each peripheral. Once the LOCKED=1 is saved, you will not be able to make changes through the FS2004 joystick menu. If you want to make changes either make LOCKED=0 or remove the LOCKED=1 from the FS9.cfg.In the second case, you probably need two FS9.CFG files and a FS9.BAT file. I attached a FS2002.BAT.TXT file I found somewhere. You would need to edit this file for the correct folders for FS2004.W. Sieffert Bill Sieffert
