Played it on iPad

Featured Replies

Just "ran" Flight on my iPad, and it was surprisingly smooth and fluid (low-medium graphics). I used the Splashtop app which essentially runs the program on your home computer allowing you to play remotely (home network or via google login) on your ipad. Touchscreen works fine, although you have to bring up the keyboard layout to adjust throttle, set gear, etc. If MS would design touchscreen controls for Flight then it would make it very playable. The key is to have a fast network.

I expect they will bring touch screen controls one day. Since Windows 8 is not far off, and that's designed to bring unity to desktop and tablet platforms.

DigHost I think i remember someone in the beta forums mention they had flight on a touch screen and it was working and also a MS DEV later mention that they really did not code for touch screen and he also mention he was glad to know that it was working . So who knows what the future holds as far as touch screen support.
