February 29, 201214 yr Installed Flight and even changing the settings on my graphics I am not able to run flight. Just a collage of corrupt video. It runs the game with the voices in the background but does not display at all. I'm running on my HP laptop that is I5 with 8 gigs of ram with a ATI HD6370, I updated the drivers but it meets all the specs. I run FSX on this system with med to high settings and get a constant 20 to 25 FPS. Thanks for any help. Jason Arsineau KLAS
March 2, 201214 yr Author Am I really the only one with corrupt video? The game installs fine and all screens are normal until I get into the sim part. Once I sim loads I can here the lady talk but the screen is just jagged traingles and total corruption. Ive tried updating my drivers , reinstall and adjusting the settings. Totally weird. And like I said I run FSX fine on high settings. Jason Arsineau KLAS
March 2, 201214 yr Check if the game is trying to access any on-board cpu graphics instead of the Ati, is all I can think of. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. You need to turn on VSYNC to get rid of it. Evidently MS was aware of the problem, as that is the reason in the description for it to use it. The other time you may see this is if you are running out of video memory, or there is a HW problem with it. March 3, 201214 yr Author Ihad vsync checked it was a total mess. I got it figured out. I finally reinstalled my drivers AGAINnnnnnnn. I right clicked on flight exe and set compatability to win7 and walla. I know this is not a fix it is some sort of anomolly with computer but it worked. Not to shabby. Jason Arsineau KLAS
