March 1, 201214 yr Finally installed the game after 3 network installation failures with windows live installer.Im running an I7 2630QM with a 3GB 560M GTX 12gb Ram.I turned all settings and resolution to max.The game runs smooth with no hiccups my GPU/CPU didnt even break a sweat on max settings..kudos on the optimization Microsoft. As far as impressionsThe virtual cockpits are nice looking and pan smoothly. The sounds in Flight are much more improved..even have control surface sounds when you move the stick.Graphics wise ...meh besides smooth playability and optimization my modded GEX/REX/UTX/ENB/ FSX makes this game look pretty basic. I feel they could have put more work into ground details such as buildings and coast line textures. My REX software makes MS Flight default skies look really basic and boring in comparison. The weather in this case I experience rain...was absolutely horribly implemented. Little blue lines on my screen...rain drops???I love the smooth interference and game menus especially with multiplayer there's no silly game spy connecting or anything you can jump right into action. The missions were very lackluster...as expected when perceived by an FSX modding enthusiast.Overall not really impressed by anything more than a smoother multiplayer experience and not even that because a couple of us just tried some formations in multiplayer and the sync is all messed up planes jumping no smoothness when near other players.Control wise any new player to MS Flight can easily adapt ...I feel even the controls are on board with Ace Combat 5 or HAWKS learning wise. The game feels very arcadish.I'm still deciding to either give this game another 20 minutes of my time or just hit the uninstall option in my control panel.Maybe Ill keep it around just for some quick multiplayer adventure? As for purchasing DLC....no because there's plenty of FSX software that Ill buy before anything with MS Flight. This game makes me appreciate FSX that much more!Nice try Microsoft, but Ill just accept FSX as being the end of this series. March 1, 201214 yr Seems to me it was an honest Review /opinion without any personal attacks. Sounds like someone doesn't like that and using personal attacks? Which was not suppose to happen. ArDee
