March 1, 201214 yr For battery start: Hold the APU start switch all the way down to START position. After it releases, go up to your electrical panel and note the current draw. The APU starter should be drawing about 250 amps. This means that the APU start sequence has begun. After a few seconds the LOW OIL PRESS light will illuminate and extinguish. Once the egt temperature has stabilized, you can connect the APU generators the tha aircraft bus. If you want to be nice to your battery, attach the external power cart.
March 1, 201214 yr Commercial Member First, I know this may come across as mean, but please just understand that if I can't read what you wrote, I can't help you. Please use punctuation.Second, to be honest, you're probably not doing it correctly, or you're not giving it enough time. It's not like you hit the APU start and it's instantly up and available. Please read the introduction and patiently follow the tutorial. When you engage the GENs, you also need to hold your click slightly longer than you'd think. Hold the click for each, and you'll see the light go out.I'd write more, but it really just seems like you're not following how it's supposed to be done, which is explained in the tutorial, and I don't feel like re-writing what's already been written. Both of you: please sign your posts. It's a forum rule. Edited March 1, 201214 yr by scandinavian13 Kyle Rodgers

March 1, 201214 yr May not be the complete answer but I had the same problem ( I think) until I switched the left fuelpump to ON.Martin Drost
March 1, 201214 yr May not be the complete answer but I had the same problem ( I think) until I switched the left fuelpump to ON.Martin DrostThe boost pumps can't run off the battery, they need AC power. The APU has it's own DC fuel pump which is more than enough. Edited March 1, 201214 yr by kevinh
