I usually come to the forum and click "View new content" at the top-right, but with the popularity of the Flight forum, all this results in is a multitude of topics that I don't want to read, so I have to filter through them. I'm by no means being another complainer regarding the Flight forum, I think Flight has its merits but it's just not for me. I'm simply looking for a way to un-link that sub-forum when I click "View new content," so please don't make this into a "I hate Flight" thread, I'm bored to death of those...Thanks for any and all help.

On the left side, when under "view new content", go under "Other" and select Filter by Forum. Select all the forums you wish to be included. Lots of clicking is in your future.
