March 6, 201214 yr Just bought this beauty this morning. Unfortunatley, All I can do is sit in for the time being because of Activation issues. I read there have been a lot of activation issues with this plane but it is or has been corrected in a new update. Does anyone know if the new version is out yet, or is this still the old activation problem. I opened a suport ticket this morning and I dont want to bother them buy opening another one. Ill wait patiently to hear back from X-avaition. Also does anyone know th eturn around time for a support ticket?Rob
March 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member The answers you need are all found here...http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/forum/40-mitsubishi-mu-2-support/The MU-2 uses an older DRM. The updated MU-2 will have a new DRM that makes activation much easier and hassle free.
March 6, 201214 yr Author Ok thanks, Ill leave it in my hanger until the new update. Looks great though! Can't wait to fly it.Rob
March 6, 201214 yr Commercial Member You could send X-Aviation a support ticket and they will straighten you out with activation issues. Have you flying in no time. It really is a great aircraft to fly. http://www.x-aviatio.../contact_us.php
March 6, 201214 yr Author I sent them a request and they reset it. Now it works fine. Great plane and great customer service from X-Aviation!! :(
March 7, 201214 yr The v1.5 MU-2 (the Asymtopic Update) is reportedly very very close. I understand it is completed, and it is only a matter of finalising the documentation and 'shipping' it through X-Aviation's store. Just days now I hope!

March 8, 201214 yr Commercial Member I have a definite date that it will be available. This date is set in stone and will not be changed unless there is some kind of catastrophic internet meltdown. But I don't want to mention it yet...just in case. It will be very soon though. We literally just finished everything on the autopilot (Sperry model) yesterday and I finished the main part of the documentation yesterday morning. A juicy amount of code was involved with the autopilot, and I'm in the middle of testing it and a few other systems right now. So far, from what I can see, everything works perfectly.Just have to type up a few checklists, clean up a few areas of the model and the textures, give the flight model a once over and that should be it. It's taken about a year to build this one. Many ups and downs, but it's definitely been worth it! We're VERY happy with how it turned out! Thanx, guys!
March 8, 201214 yr Fantastic News!! Thx very much!!! 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
March 8, 201214 yr I didn't realise there was a low-wing, radial-engined MU-2 variant! I look forward to both versions.
March 8, 201214 yr Dozer I don't see a Smiley face with your statement so I'll take it you are not being facetious :( The Beautiful DC-3 is a New product coming from GoranM and his X-Plane development company"Leading Edge Simulations"It has nothing to do with the MU-2 other than being sold by X-Aviation.Sorry I brought the thread off-topic.You can find out more about the DC-3 Here...........http://forums.x-pilot.com/index.php/page/index.html/_/news/x-aviation-previews-les-douglas-dc-3-r97Cheers!!! 100%75%50%d8a34be0e82d98b5a45ff4336cd0dddc Patrick
March 8, 201214 yr Commercial Member Tom, the maker of the MU2, is a friend of mine. I'm sure he doesn't mind a small thread-jacking. :(
March 9, 201214 yr No worries Phantom - I know of the DC-3 and I'm eagerly looking forward to it too! I'd forgotten about the smilies - I tend to hide them all with Adblock.
