Thinking of "upgrading"

Featured Replies

Hey guys,I have been using AS6.5 for years now (FS9) and really haven't had much problems with it. I found a while back a comparison chart type diagram that showed the differences between AS6.5 and ASE. I am interested in ASE but I first would like to know what the differences and improvements I will see between the two. Is it really that much different and worth the money to upgrade?I hope to get some honest answers! Thanks guys!Kyle

Hello, the decision to upgrade is really based upon your needs. ASE is a newer product and the support for AS6.5 is nearing it's end. ASE has some changes in the fact you are able to control the winds just a little more than in ASv6 but again it is totally up to your own discretion if you should upgrade or not.Hope this helps

Hi Kyle, Like you I used 6.5 for years, and only upgraded to ASE last week so i haven't had too much experience of it. However I also bought GEPro, and the two products have certainly improved my FS9 experience.

Thanks for the comment! I have GEPro but I use REX for my graphics. Keep me updated on what you find between ASE and AS6.5, if there are any noticeable differences!
