March 22, 200422 yr My very first freeware release for MSFS was a little utility called Autoland... It started as an fs98 adventure, and it could autoland most props and jets. I followed up with the standalone program Autoland 2002. Now, I've completed an update which works with both FS2002 and FS2004. It utilizes Flight Deck Software's free tool, FDSConnection and also includes a window that lets you program the autopilot with heading, IAS, Mach, Cruise Alt, and Vert Speed...Don't know whether any fans of this tool lurk here, but I wanted to let you know it's coming... :)-John
March 22, 200422 yr I'll use it. Sometimes I'm too tired to land myself.FLY! has this feature, so why not fs.Eytan
March 23, 200422 yr Great news, John. I used an older version (but I don't remember which one) and amazed myself that it could do so well in a crosswind. Looking forward to the release. Thanks. R-
March 23, 200422 yr Author Sounds like a cool program. I think I will use it when sitting with a wingview. Great for videos too :-)
