March 10, 201214 yr Let's try again. I think I've converted the pics to jpg. We'll see.JackWell, I got three pics in. As you can see, we're flying from side to side. Eventually it's back on track but then starts to bak away again. After we pass 3 or 4 waypoints things seem to revert to normal.Jack
March 10, 201214 yr Is the aircraft "S-turning"? Is that the issue? What weather program are you using and do you have a registered copy of FSUIPC? ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
March 10, 201214 yr This is a weather related problem. Note that your track is constant, but your wind correction angle is rapidly changing. Try it with clear weather (no winds) and I bet it goes away.If it goes away, get the registered version of FSUIPC and use the wind smoothing features that it offers. Dan Downs KCRP
March 10, 201214 yr Author I'm using Rex and a registered version of FSUIPC and obviously FSX. I thought that I had made wind adjustments in FSUIPC but maybe not. I'll double check and try this flight again tomorrow.By the way, Dan. Before I retired, I used to represent the NBC affiliate in Corpus Christi. Had many an enjoyable trip to your city. Wind and all.Thank you Dan and Zach. I appreciate the quick response.JackOh, Zach, yes the aircraft is S turning. Not losing altitude, just slithering back and forth.Jack
March 11, 201214 yr Author Dan/Zach..........Did the flight again, this time no S turn problems. I rechecked some items in the wind section of FSUIPC and as Dan suggested, therein lay the problem.Again, thanks to both of you for your help in solving this annoying little issue..Jack

It eliminated S-Turns and some other strange happenings for me before I was using AS2012. The latest is version 4.805.http://forum.simflig...pdated-modules/I suggest book marking this link and checking it from time to time. Peter keeps updates coming. Also, make sure to backup your controls! ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules
