Blurries

Featured Replies

Anyone besides me still getting the blurries with MS FLIGHT? I almost never venture into a new area without experiencing them. Any way to fix it?Computer specs:AMD Athlon II X4 640 Propus 3.0GHz Socket AM3 95W Quad-CoreMicrosoft Windows 7 Professional 64-bitGIGABYTE GV-N26UD-896M REV2.0 GeForce GTX 260 896MB 448-bit GDDR3Eliyahu

Not really, the only thing you can do is not flying fast, blurries or not i think the ground textures in populated areas are very low res and they look terrible.

It depends for me. I find the textures better than FSX generally but far sub-par to Orbx.City ground textures are sub-fsx quality (needs anisotropic?) and clouds can be odd.Blurries are intermittent. Sometimes there, mostly not.

The dev team are aware that there are some issues with graphics. Some of them are more likely where you are heavily CPU bound on the primary core usually where your system cannot maintain at least 60 FPS. It is still recommended that v-sync is left on to avoid tearing. Assuming all settings are as high as they can go then the recommended order to turn down settings to have the largest impact of CPU load with least impact to visuals is:

  • Shadow Quality from Maximum to High
  • Scenery Quality from Maximum to High
  • Scenery Density from Maximum to High
  • Scenery Density from High to Medium
  • Shadow Quality from High to Medium

If this still isn't good enough then you may need to turn down further. Disappointing that the primary core still has such an effect on graphics.

I've noticed that the blurries are there no matter where I am on the map, so it doesn't seem like CPU load would be a factor.
