March 14, 201214 yr This has happened before but thought it was just a one off, but I just took off from Corfu and started doing some traffic pattern approaches and then I noticed my rudder was stuck to the left, and if i moved it to the right it would just move to idle position (middle). Not sure what I may have pressed for this to happen but can anyone help me, its a big issue because obviously when I'm on the ground I can't taxi! Here's an image of it so its easier to visualize. March 14, 201214 yr NGX? You sure do use this FSX forum a lot for PMDG support.Check list. In there somewhere is a line about rudder trim. ___________________________________________________________________________________ Zachary Waddell -- Caravan Driver -- Facebook: http://www.facebook.com/zwaddell Avsim ToS Avsim Screenshot Rules

February 15, 201313 yr Commercial Member I just happen to come across this old thread as I was searching for an answer to the same issue as I have this happen just about every time I start a flight or switch an aircraft. I can flip a toggle "UP" on my Saitek TPM and sure enough I flip it and the rudder locks to the left?! What's odd is I have no assignment for that toggle in MS, in Saitek, or even FSUIPC. In fact, you cannot even assign the flip toggle in the UP position - only down. Odd eh? I might have found a fix or at least a workaround. If you have FSUIPC installed, in Options and Settings under the Miscellaneous tab the is a selection 'Reload FSUIPC data' with a drop-down list. My selection was 'Never'. I changed that to 'Always' and that appears to have fixed my issue... at least so far with the last 6-7 times I have restarted-checked different aircraft. So it might be worth a try. February 15, 201313 yr Programming the axis in FSUIPC might solve the problem but meantime open up your Controls menu page and see if there are conflicting rudder axis - that is the axis is being used by both your rudder and one of the throttle or yoke or some other hardware piece. This is fairly common. If you use FSUIPC then be certain to disable every axis in FSX and use only FSUIPC which BTW is far more dependable. Ron W
