Flight Map - Scroll & Zoom

Featured Replies

Is there any way to scroll, move and zoom the flight plan map on the ECAM in order to inspect the waypoints and route?Sorry if I am ignorant but this is a frustration for me when my route exported from FSBuild flies in circles ie. before getting to the star.ThanksEddie Taute

ECAM is an Airbus term. In a modern Boeing it is called EICAS.Just move the selector to PLAN on the EFIS control panel next to the MCP. Then select the LEGS page on the CDU. You should be able to step through the flight plan.

Neither ECAM nor EICAS are correct terms here - the NG has "Display Units" (DUs). The one in question is called the Navigation Display - ND.The reason the NG's isn't called in EICAS is because it's not an status alerting/consequences system like what's on the big Boeings. NG's still have old fashioned 6-pack caution lights, overhead warning lights etc.

Hi Ryan,That's one reason why I would be keen to get one day an Airbus A32x from PMDG. :( Hopefully your Boeing co-operation does not exclude such development.
