March 17, 201214 yr Hoping others have had this issue and can help - I have AS2012 SP1 BETA and am seeing an issue where my destination airport ATIS will read and report the current weather at my location (ie: usually 75+ miles out at 15,000'+). As such the weather is inaccurate and usually reporting winds in the wrong direction thus causing ATC to set me up for the wrong approach/runway. The problem is usually resolved once I get lower and within 20mi of the airport. Has anyone else seen this issue? Any ideas on a solution? Thanks!Chris
March 17, 201214 yr Hi,I have just flown a short flight ESSA - ESGG and prior to departure made a note of the arrival weather..When the arrival ATIS played via the Radar Contact menu the only change to the weather an hour before was a 5mph wind increase and a 1Hp increase in pressure so that I am happy with my results. You might need to adjust your settings a little.Norman Norman Bowman
March 18, 201214 yr If You use DWC mode, You will always hear ATIS at Your current FL and location. Try to use 122.000 (for nearest apt) or 122.020 for destination if You have loaded FlightPlan to AS12. Unfortunately it will only play via the default sound card Bartłomiej Ender
