March 19, 201214 yr I don't usually fly from saved scenarios, but I recently installed Reality Garmin GPS gauges in my Turbine Duke and decided to fly from KLOU to PANC with stops in KCOD, S50, PAKT and CYXY, so saved flights would be a must. I quickly found some quirks with FSX saves and wondered if this is normal or perhaps unique to my install. My experience with saves are as followes:1. Saving a flight from mid-air, such as on final approach, when I reload the flight everything seems fine and all system function normally.2. Saving a flight parked, engines running or not, when flight is reloaded some systems do not function correctly. For instance flaps and landing gear INOP. This is repeatable and I have tried this with multiple aircraft. Why this should differ from in flight results I don't know.3. You can save a flight configuration from FREE FLIGHT, but of course since you are not in the sim you cant leave it parked where you want and configured a certain way. March 19, 201214 yr I wonder if that's something specific to the Duke. Have you tried it with other aircraft? My Freeware Sceneries

March 19, 201214 yr Whenever you load a "Saved" flight directly from the FreeFlight GUI, and the aircraft does not completely load correctly, try reloading the "Saved" flight again from the drop down menu in-sim.From the FSX in-sim drop down menu you can use "Load" or "Reset" on that same "Saved" flight, and sometimes it will bring up the aircraft systems that didn't load correctly straight from the FFGUI.For some reason loading a "Saved" flight straight from the FFGUI and loading/resetting the same "Saved" flight once in-sim are not always the same thing.FAC
March 19, 201214 yr Author Found it. I wan't turning on the generators. As simple as that, and as real as it gets. Now I feel like Homer Simpson.. DOH!! Intel Core Ultra 9 285K | GIGABYTE Z890 AORUS Elite X ICE | RTX 5080 | 32GB DDR5 | Win 11 Pro | Acer Predator UltraWide 3440x1440 (G-Sync)
March 20, 201214 yr Commercial Member I always save my flights if I have to in pause mode and double check everything. Various AC for some reason don't save certain panel settings if they are AC without panel exports like some of the higher payware models. Some turn the pitot heat off, others turn off the fuel pumps etc... . I don't have the Duke so I don't know about that one. Regards, Dave Opper HiFi Support Manager
